A Quick Look
I’m a strong believer that resolution is possible—even in the most difficult moments. As an independent mediator with formal education and legal training in Family Law, Landlord-Tenant Board matters, Civil Litigation, and other legal areas of practice in Ontario; I bring both skill and lived experience to the table.
As a first-generation immigrant from Jamaica, I’ve learned to adapt and thrive within Canadian culture while proudly preserving the values and traditions of my heritage. Balancing both worlds—navigating and building a professional life in a new country while honoring the responsibilities of home life—has shaped me into a resilient and compassionate professional. This lived experience allows me to deeply understand the mindset, cultural challenges, and unique needs faced by many immigrant Canadians today, making me especially attuned to helping clients who may be navigating similar transitions.
I’ve studied at both the college and university level, grounding my practice in legal education while continuing to evolve through ongoing professional development in conflict resolution, negotiation, and communication.
My work is built on the belief that everyone deserves a fair, respectful, and empowering space to be heard. Whether you’re navigating the complexities of a relationship breakdown or resolving a housing or civil dispute, I’m here to help you move forward—confidently and collaboratively.
At MLS Mediation Consulting, I combine legal insight with compassion, offering accessible, online-only mediation services that meet you where you are—no matter where you come from.
